Enquadramento Produções is a Brazilian independent film production company, based in Sao Paulo, founded by producer Leonardo Mecchi, focused on the development and production of cultural and cinematographic projects, mainly first or second feature films from promising filmmakers. Among its productions are works selected for some of the most important national and international festivals, such as Cannes, Berlin, Locarno, Rotterdam, Toronto, San Sebastian, IndieLisboa, IDFA, FidMarseille, BAFICI, Brasília, Rio, Tiradentes, and Gramado.

 

 

 

 

ABOUT THE PRODUCER

 

 

Leonardo Mecchi is the head partner of Enquadramento Produções. He has worked over the last 15 years as a producer in feature films such as The Intrusion, by Flora Dias and Juruna Mallon (Berlinale Forum); Rejeito, by Pedro de Filippis (Cinéma du Réel); Canuto's Transformation, by Ariel Ortega and Ernesto de Carvalho (IDFA); Death Inhabits at Night, by Eduardo Morotó (Rotterdam); The Fever, by Maya Da-Rin (Locarno); Los Silencios, by Beatriz Seigner (Cannes - Directors' Fortnight); Sultry, by Marina Meliande (Rotterdam). He is also Executive Producer of features like Charcoal, by Carolina Markowicz (Toronto); Obra, by Gregório Graziosi (Rome); Super Nothing, by Rubens Rewald (Amiens); and Quebradeiras, by Evaldo Mocarzel (Toulouse). He is an associate producer for The Trial, by Maria Augusta Ramos (Berlinale), He also works as a curator, jury, and producer at film showcases and festivals.
